Liars

Liars - I hate people who lie. I see no reason for it, and if you do insist on lying then you have to have a very good memory.

An example of lying:
My husband and his ex had a child Timmy, and we dropped him off one weekend to be told by his ex, that the next time we were meant to have Timmy that he had been invited to his best friends birthday party and to save us driving backwards and forwards (55 miles each way), we would have him the following weekend.

This seems fair, until the day before said birthday party she phoned up in one of her normal rages (usually it's because her boyfriend has done something and therefore in preference to getting angry with him she will phone my husband up) and my husband said how it was a shame not seeing Timmy this weekend, to which she replied "we're only going to the school fair so you could have him if you wanted" she had completely forgotten the birthday party story.

What was the point? we would have understood if she had told us the truth as we know this is the sort of things she likes to do as a family which does not include my husband or me.

Other things she lies about - I'm going away this weekend so you'll have to pick Timmy up from my mothers. No problems, but the Wednesday before was Timmy's birthday so you phone up to say happy birthday and find that she has gone on holiday for the whole week and left Timmy with her mother. Why not tell us? Yet if we go away (with or without Timmy) we have to tell her every detail flight number, hotel etc.

And the list goes on....... Every fortnight it's another lie.
